Tajikeimɨk is creating a Mi’kmaw led, comprehensive health planning process that will design and deliver a more wholistic, trauma-informed, and culturally safe system. That system will be based on Etuaptmumk (Two-Eyed Seeing) and incorporate the perspectives of Health Directors and partner organizations in health transformation and health services planning.

What We Aim to Do:

Our Mental Wellness and Healing team is developing and implementing a Mi’kmaw Mental Wellness and Healing Strategy and Action Plan that blends traditional knowledge and clinical expertise, to better meets the mental wellness and healing needs of Mi’kmaw communities and individuals.

Resources:

As we create new resources, and identify partner resources that are culturally safe and appropriate, we will add them here - Check back often!
